Free Stuff On The Internet

It was a really early morning for Liz and I this morning. She had a 6:55am flight out of BWI so we headed off at about 4:30 which meant getting up at 4:00. I know some of you get up that early every day so I'm not complaining...just stating the facts. As we were driving I was thinking about creating a new website that just gives stuff away for free. No gimmicks, no tricks, no strings attached. I would give away something every Sunday night to a random winner chosen from whoever signs up on the site. I have a lot of stuff around the house that I never use and instead of just throwing it away or taking it all in a trash bag to the goodwill dumpster, I wondered it I could just create a site that would generate a big email list. Thus, at about 1:00pm today, http://ChristmasEveryWeek.com was created and as of 10:30pm tonight, I have 54 people registered (37 of which have confirmed their email) and NONE of them are people that I know. Pretty cool. This week's prize? A brand new DVD of Jack Black's movie "Orange County" still wrapped in plastic. So go ahead and sign up.
