Pimp My Old Ride With Burgers, Babes, Brew and Fireworks

Well, the two days off from the blog are now officially over. Time to get off my duff get something posted. This blog is starting to smell funny.

Speaking of duff...ever wonder what a "duff" actually is? No? I understand you probably have way more important things to wonder about rather that what a "duff" is, but here's your answer anyway.

Here's some other funny / oddball things I saw on the road.

Ever seen one of those "Sign My Ride" old cars? Seems like a great idea to me. Why let an old car rust away to nothing before ending up in the recycle bin? Give it a chance as a whole new car with a new purpose. This one was at a Tennessee rest stop.

I had stopped somewhere for gas (again in Tennessee) and saw this new take on the Hooters restaurant concept. It must have been especially designed for the local market.

For some silly reason we can't buy cool fireworks here in West Virginia so I had to stop at the local fireworks store. I'm not sure what it's called but you know how sometimes they make a building look bigger than it actually is? I think fireworks stores invented that concept. This building was about the size of a 7-11 once you actually got inside.
